Favorite Old Songs

In addition to writing modern indie folk songs and recording and performing her own music, Ruby is available as a for-hire musician covering your favorite artists of the ’60s and ’70s. As a working singer and entertainer for nearly a decade, she has provided live music for restaurants, hotels, luxury beach clubs, casinos, fundraisers, weddings, and private parties.

A deep fan of the Golden Era of Laurel Canyon folk, her sets feature songs that audiences recognize, inviting them to revisit memories while listening to cherished music they know and love. From Carole King and Bonnie Raitt to James Taylor and The Eagles, Ruby’s love for music recorded and written decades before she was born is reflected in her tender delivery.

With acoustic guitar and vocals, Ruby sets the tone and atmosphere by creating music that complements the ambience without overpowering it. Ruby can scale from solo to duo, trio, or full band and comes equipped with a full sound system.
